A Seattle attorney accused of sexually assaulting at least four women has been charged with rape.
King County prosecutors contend Danford Grant attacked two women at a massage business in Seattle’s Greenwood neighborhood, raping one of the women earlier this month. He’s also alleged to have attacked massage therapists in Shoreline and Bellevue.
Filing charges Thursday, prosecutors described a series of sexual assaults dating back to July. Grant – an attorney specializing in civil litigation – is alleged to have raped at least one woman at knife point.
Writing the court, Senior Deputy Prosecutor Val Richey described Grant as “an extreme danger to the community.” Richey told the court Grant remains under investigation in other sex assaults.
