Seattle Weekly provides an excerpt of a disturbing chat between Gregory Sean O’Neall and an under cover Federal agent taken from court documents filed on June 21, 2012. You can find the story and excerpt HERE.

Gregory Sean O’Neall, a registered sex offender out of Texas,  has been charged with possession and distribution of child pornography after Federal Agents busted him with over a 100 pictures of girls, ranging between the ages of 3 and 15. The pictures were taken, by O’Neall at a Federal Way Washington Costco where he worked as a contracted food demonstration provider for, Warehouse Demo Services. O’Neall uploaded said pictures on a Russian based porn site with album titles such as “Costco Cuties” and “more Costco cuties”.

So far, there has been plenty of buck passing between Costco and Warehouse Demo Services. Costco claims that they have a strict policy against hiring felons,in particular, sex offenders. In reference to O’Neall, Costco claims that “one slipped through the cracks in this situation”.Warehouse Demo Services has claimed that they did a through back ground check on O’Neall and no criminal offenses showed up.

Commentary:

What I find more then a bit disturbing is that I pulled up Gregory Sean O’Neall’s sex offender registry page on the Texas State Sex Offender Registry site in less than five minutes. Also, included on his registry page is a former job for another Demo food provider company out of Texas state.O’Neall also updated his sex offender registry with King County in Washington State in March of 2012.

Apparently, taking 1 minute to type a potential employee’s name into a state Sex Offender Registry web site and seeing what, if anything, pops up is not considered a part of Costco and Demo Warehouse Services policy of a “through criminal and back ground check”.
